More about Jenny:

Jenny is a Texas girl with a passion for storytelling and a deep love for following Jesus. In 2004, she graduated from Baylor University with a B.A. in journalism and moved to New York City to work in public relations on Broadway. One year later, she returned to her Texas roots of steaks and salsa, married her best friend and college sweetheart Chris, and began her dream job in communications at Dallas-based global ministry, Buckner International.

Jenny served at Buckner for 10 years in various roles, including Publications Editor, Associate Director of PR and Director of Marketing and Media Relations. She later returned to school and received her master’s degree at Dallas Baptist University. In 2012, Jenny and Chris became parents to son Miller, and in 2015 to daughter Emmeline, who lives with a rare neuromuscular disease, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, and breaks down barriers everywhere she goes! Most recently, Jenny served as Director of Communications at University Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas.

Jenny is thrilled to be on the CAFO team and champion the Church’s voice so that every orphan and vulnerable child can experience God’s unfailing hope and love. When she’s not working, Jenny loves traveling (and planning trips), reading, musical theater, family movie nights, long walks and drinking good coffee (or wine) on the patio with friends!
