INDIVIDUAL CHURCH MEMBERSHIPS

Membership in CAFO is an opportunity to grow and guide a movement together. In addition, there are a variety of membership opportunities available to churches, each with their own unique access to resourcing, Summit registration incentives, leadership, guidance and coaching platforms and more!

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

All membership levels include a voice in a united community, working in unison to enlarge the Church’s action for children in need. Advanced levels of membership also include further opportunities to expand the member’s impact while investing in the movement together.

The simple steps to membership include:

1) Completed online membership application

2) Processing of membership dues or commitment to invest locally (for Supporter and Champion level)

MEMBERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Invest directly in CAFO or through a local non-profit, agency or ministry

At CAFO, we exist to empower and mobilize local collaborative movements that are supporting vulnerable children and families better together than they ever could separately. To that end, we invite you to consider investing in a local non-profit, agency or ministry that is serving vulnerable children and families in your community.

If you commit to investing annually at a local level your investment will be credited towards your church’s membership at CAFO. For example, a local investment of at least $250/year will qualify as your Supporter Level member dues at CAFO, or a minimum local investment of $1,000/year will qualify as your Champion Level dues.

We are excited to offer this opportunity for your church to receive all the benefits of CAFO Church Membership while experiencing the satisfaction of partnering more strategically with a local ministry or organization!

CAFO Member on Partnership Locally & with CAFO

quote

As we looked at how we could holistically care for vulnerable children and families we realized we were going to need to collaborate with like-minded organizations to be able to provide More than Enough resources, support and care for those families and communities we wanted to serve well. One of our first local partners stepped into a significant gap for us, providing knowledge, training and collaborative problem-solving. We often say, “We couldn’t do what we do without them.” And it’s true. We are better as a community in the city of Houston when we work together. Our local partnerships are essential but the invitation to mission doesn’t end there. As we extend our vision past our city we get the opportunity to partner in national and global spaces too. Specifically, partnering with CAFO has been so instrumental in our shift toward best practices and relevant, Biblical training. The wealth of information, connection, and collaboration we’ve experienced as a part of the CAFO community has been deeply meaningful. For us it has been crucial to invest in, work alongside and be in relationship with local partners who understand our unique context and to also have a partner like CAFO outside of our context to challenge and encourage us toward broader, deeper growth. It’s an honor to be able to organize our efforts, relationships and financial investments in a way that reflects an Acts 1:8 approach - City, Nation and World.”

*Copies of "Everyone Can Do Something" book

“Everyone Can Do Something” is a field guide for strategically rallying your church around the orphaned and vulnerable. In it you will discover how to clarify your message, make the problem relatable, set strategic priorities, develop a plan and outline best next steps for your ministry.

All Champion level churches will receive two free copies of the book!

To learn more, visit www.everyonecandosomethingbook.com.
